Rockstar Business World ( ' RBW')

Terms & Conditions

1.     Scope.

  1. RBW provides professional mentoring and business advice services to Businesses, (Clients), through the RBW social network and websites owned and operated by RBW.
  2. RBW provides these services under these terms & conditions.

 

2.     Obligations

During the period of the Agreement RBW shall make the services available to Client as follows:-

  • Internet based services, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week including all public holidays subject to the availability of required technology based services to RBW from its suppliers.
  • Services through video conference and face to face contact, between the hours determined between the mentor and the client.
  • RBW undertakes to perform its obligations with all reasonable care and in a responsive manner.

 

3.     Liability

The limit of RBW’s obligation to Client is to use all reasonable skill and judgement in providing services to Client. Under no circumstances will RBW be held liable to Client for:

 

  1. any increased costs or expenses,
  2. any loss of profit, business, contracts, or revenue,
  3. any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage of any nature whatsoever,

 

3.1  Client is responsible for taking all necessary and due precautions when listening to and applying the advice, recommendations and input given to Client from any of RBW’s mentors, educational and/or information products and services. Under no circumstances will RBW be held liable to Client should the client for any damages, costs or expenses incurred by Client by applying and advice from any of RBW’s mentors.

 

3.2  Client is responsible for the content Client uploads to the RBW site AND Client therefore indemnifies RBW for any liability incurred. Client will ensure that there is no illegal, abusive or offensive content on their RBW hosted web pages or intranets or anything contained therein which promotes or incites illegal activities in any jurisdiction.  Particularly Client must ensure that any content offered or uploaded to the RBW hosted site, landing pages, blogs or any other medium that utilises RBW technology complies with the current Committee for Advertising Practice (CAP) code. www.cap.org.uk.  Client should visit www.copyadvice.org.uk to ensure all Client’s copy and content are in compliance with the CAP code.

 

3.3  Where Client uses RBW supplied blogs, chat rooms, broadcasts, user groups or electronic open forum debates, Client will refrain from the use of any illegal, abusive or offensive content or statements. 

 

3.4  In the event that Client breaches any of the above terms or protocols stated in 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 above RBW will immediately remove all offending material and retains the right to terminate the services provided to Client forthwith.  RBW may also seek consequential damages and/or costs from Client.

 

3.5  Force Majeure. RBW shall not be liable in damages for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, insurrections or damage or destruction of any network facilities or servers and/or any other cause beyond its reasonable control.

 

4.     Confidential, unpublished information

RBW undertakes to hold all unpublished information about Client in the strictest confidence and will not divulge said information to any other person or organisation without the specific authorisation of Client.

 

RBW respect other people's rights, and expect Client to do the same.

  1. Client will not post content or take any action on RBW that infringes or violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.
  2. RBW can remove any content or information Client posts on RBW if we believe that it violates this Statement or our policies.
  3. If RBW remove your content for infringing someone else's copyright, and Client believes we removed it by mistake, we will provide you with an opportunity to appeal.
  4. If Client repeatedly infringes other people's intellectual property rights, RBW will disable Client’s account when appropriate.
  5. If Client collects information from users, Client will: obtain their consent, make it clear that you/Client (and not RBW) are the one collecting their information, and post a privacy policy explaining what information you collect and how you will use it.
  6. Client will not post anyone's identification documents or sensitive financial information on RBW

 

5.     Paid Membership

All fees paid to RBW, are considered non-refundable.

5.1 Should Client sign upfront and pay for 12 months, these fees are non-refundable

5.2 In the case of Client paying upfront for a full membership and they are unable to see out the full term of the membership, Client can transfer the remaining paid months, only to a current non-paying member. 

 

 

6.      Miscellaneous 

  1. The validity, construction and performance of these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law.
  2. All disputes, claims or proceedings between the parties relating to the validity, construction, performance or termination of these terms and conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the High Court of Justice in England and Wales
